This book is an account of author's own experience teaching in American schools and observations as a teacher and a parent. The cause of the failure of American education is not the schools. The adult-oriented society and the anti-education culture surrounding the schools have been destroying the American education and American children. If they really want to reform their education, Americans must understand that American way that they know is not the only way in the world.
